From 1993 to 1997, she was a Spanish Master at The Lawrenceville School, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and after that she worked for a year at The Park School of Baltimore, Maryland, before going back to her native land.
Back in Argentina, Ms. Giménez enrolled in journalism school at T.E.A., where she graduated in 2002.
Since 1985 (even before she obtained her first college degree), Ms. Giménez has been teaching English as a Foreign Language, Spanish, and translating both from and into her mother tongue. She has also published literary articles, interviews and short fiction, and developed teaching material for her language and literature courses. In 2000, she was appointed English (and later Spanish) Professor at John F. Kennedy University, Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she has been working since then. In April 2011 she was hired by Instituto Universitario Escuela Argentina de Negocios to teach English for Tourism to students in the Hotel Management program. Since August 2011, she has also been teaching English for Nurses at Instituto Superior de Ciencias de la Salud.
